About the Founder
Hi, my name is Kristina and I moved to Ottawa in my late twenties not knowing anyone. I found it difficult to meet like-minded girls who were into the same things as me so I decided to take matters into my own hands and start my own all-girls social club. I launched YOW Girl in the fall of 2022 and added a female entrepreneur aspect to the mission as I noticed there were so many in the city and wanted to create a space where they could shine & network as well. I believe in the power of collaboration and community and I want every woman who joins us to feel included.
Meet Our Team
Hi, my name is Katerina and I am the new face here at YOW Girl Club! I moved to Ottawa around the same time as Kristina, not knowing many people. I wanted to expand my network, so I attended a YGC event back in the fall of 2023. Kristina and I instantly clicked through our shared story and passion for empowering women & the community.
